WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told House Speaker Nancy Pelosi that President Donald Trump would “weigh in” with Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell if a deal on a coronavirus stimulus package is reached, Pelosi’s spokesman said in a series of posts on Twitter.

Staff for Mnuchin and Pelosi “will be exchanging language on several areas,” Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s spokesman, added.
